MARITIME DAYS BREMERHAVEN
16.08. – 20.08.2023

The summer of 2022 in Bremerhaven belongs to sailors, music fans and connoisseurs, because strolling along the quayside in front of proud ships, being thrilled by great artists and looking forward to attractive food stands is possible again.
Brilliant names are on the list of ships. The flagship "Alexander von Humboldt II", the impressive Swedish three-master "Götheborg", the Portuguese "Pascual Flores". Among the motorboats, the customs boat "Bremen" and the diving ship "Taucher bremenports", which will present various diving demonstrations, stand out. A total of around 70 sailing, motor and steam ships will be presented. Open Ship is part of the free offer for most of the ships.
The highlight of the colourful hustle and bustle around the Old and New Harbour is the high-altitude fireworks display on Saturday evening. But the other programme items will also find their fans: Buccaneer Village, Street Food Festival with delicacies from all over the world, Wine Deck, Children's Programme.
The opening act will be the cover band "Delicious Divine" before Radio Bremen Eins closes the first day with a big opening party (tickets required).
But the top acts of the "Maritime Days" are Ben Zucker (Thursday, 18 August) and Sarah Connor (Saturday, 20 August). In addition to many artists from the city and the region, the band "Jupiter Jones" has already confirmed their participation. You can also look forward to "Sweety Glitter and The Sweethearts", who will perform a colourful homage to rock 'n' roll. As part of the presentation of the Fischtown Penguins and Eisbären Bremerhaven teams, the hit duo "Klaus und Klaus" will be on stage.
The many gastronomic stands will round off the summer festival.
